Editor's Review ★★★★

AudioBook Atlas

I was thoroughly engrossed in Lotus Effect, thanks in large part to Victoria Villarreal's skilled narration. She brings a nuanced sensitivity to Lakin's character, conveying the emotional toll of her experiences. The story is well-paced, with Wolfe expertly weaving together the threads of Lakin's past and present investigations. My only critique is that some of the supporting characters feel a bit underdeveloped, and at times the plot twists can feel a tad predictable. However, these are minor quibbles in an otherwise compelling narrative. Overall, I found the audiobook to be a gripping and thought-provoking listen, with a strong narrative voice and excellent production quality.
