I dove into Manufacturing Magic with enthusiasm, drawn by its promise of a fresh take on the LitRPG genre. Nick Podehl's narration immediately won me over with its energy and versatility. The story hurtles forward at a breakneck pace, with a protagonist whose growth and struggles I found deeply engaging. One area where the production could improve is in the transitions between different in-game environments – occasionally, the narrative feels a bit disjointed. Additionally, some of the supporting characters feel a tad underdeveloped. However, these are minor quibbles in an otherwise engrossing tale that kept me hooked from start to finish. Overall, I was impressed by the world-building and the author's willingness to explore complex themes.
