I devoured this 65-hour collection in what felt like a weekend. Elle Sonali's narration is a joy, effortlessly switching between the voices of our heroines and their wolfy lovers. She imbues each character with a unique personality, making it easy to distinguish between the twelve stories. Ripley's writing is punchy and engaging, with a perfect balance of humor, heart, and heat. The pacing is excellent, with each story wrapping up nicely while leaving you eager for the next. My only critique is that I wish some of the stories had a bit more world-building, but that's a small price to pay for such an enjoyable listen. If you're looking for romance with a touch of magic and a whole lot of heart, Marked Over Forty is a must-listen.
