Murder with Cucumber Sandwiches

I've always been a sucker for a good whodunit, and 'Murder with Cucumber Sandwiches' did not disappoint. C.S.E. Cooney's narration is a real treat - she imbues each character with a unique voice and personality, making it easy to keep track of the large cast. The story moves at a steady pace, with just the right amount of red herrings to keep you guessing until the very end. I did find some of the Amish cultural explanations a bit heavy-handed at times, but it's a minor quibble in an otherwise engaging listen. If you're looking for a cozy mystery that's equal parts charming and suspenseful, look no further. Just be prepared to crave a cup of tea and a cucumber sandwich by the time you're done.
