I was hooked from the first chapter. Noah's plight is both intriguing and unsettling, a testament to Fitzek's skill in creating compelling characters. Jäger's narration is exceptional, his voice perfectly capturing Noah's confusion and desperation. The pacing is relentless, each revelation driving the story forward like a runaway train. However, some of the plot twists feel a tad convenient, and I found myself wishing for a bit more subtlety in the storytelling. But these are minor quibbles in an otherwise outstanding audiobook experience. The production is top-notch, with no distractions from the narrative.
