Oblivion's Crown

I devoured Oblivion's Crown in a few marathon listening sessions, drawn in by the gritty, immersive world and the complex characters that inhabit it. Wayne Mitchell's narration is superb, bringing a gruff, rugged authenticity to Val's voice that perfectly captures the character's battle-hardened persona. Lisa Aust is equally impressive, bringing a sense of warmth and depth to the female characters. My only quibble is that some of the supporting characters feel a bit underdeveloped, and a few plot twists feel slightly predictable. However, these are minor complaints in an otherwise exceptional audiobook. The production quality is top-notch, with clear, crisp sound that makes it easy to become fully immersed in the world. Overall, I highly recommend Oblivion's Crown to fans of gritty epic fantasy.
