I was immediately drawn into Frances' world, her voice so distinct and engaging, thanks to Beaulieu's masterful narration. The story moves at a brisk pace, with just the right balance of humor, suspense, and intrigue. I loved how Mulhern weaves in historical details, making the European backdrop feel authentic. My only critique is that I wished for a bit more depth in the secondary characters, but that's a minor quibble in an otherwise engaging listen.
