I was pleasantly surprised by how engaging these stories were. Father Brown is no hard-boiled detective; he's a gentle, observant priest who solves crimes with his keen intellect and understanding of human nature. The stories are well-paced, with just the right amount of suspense and red herrings to keep you guessing. My only critique is that some of the philosophical discussions can feel a bit heavy-handed, but they're always relevant to the story. The narration is excellent, with each actor bringing their own unique flair to their characters. Overall, a fantastic listen for mystery fans looking for something a bit different.
