Pinocchio (French Edition adapted for adults)

I approached this audiobook with curiosity, expecting a fresh take on a classic. What I found was a gripping, disturbing journey that kept me on the edge of my seat. The narration is exceptional, with Gabrielle Lessard's performance as the puppet master, Geppetto, being a particular highlight. Her voice, rich and menacing, perfectly captures the sinister undertones of the story. The pacing is excellent, building tension masterfully. However, the story can feel a bit heavy-handed at times, with some themes being a tad too on-the-nose. Overall, it's a unique, unsettling listen that's perfect for fans of dark, thought-provoking fiction.
