Plague Harvest

Virtual Voice's narration is the backbone of 'Plague Harvest'. They bring a gritty realism to Dexter Wolfe, making him a relatable everyman in extraordinary circumstances. The pacing is excellent, ramping up tension during action sequences and slowing down to let the bleak atmosphere sink in. The production is clean, with sound effects used sparingly but effectively to enhance the listening experience. My only critique is that some secondary characters could have used more distinction in their voices. However, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding audiobook. 'Plague Harvest' is a must-listen for fans of hard-hitting, unapologetic post-apocalyptic science fiction.
