Sutherland's exploration of colonialism is refreshingly nuanced, challenging readers to consider their own biases. However, the pacing can feel a tad slow at times, particularly in the middle, but it's a small price to pay for such a richly drawn world and thought-provoking story. Production values are top-notch, with sound effects and music enhancing the listening experience.
