I was thoroughly immersed in 'Portals of Infinity', thanks in large part to Dusty Rhoades' skilled narration. The story is rich in world-building and character development, with a complex protagonist whose journey is both relatable and fascinating. One of the standout aspects is the way Van Stry seamlessly integrates sci-fi concepts into a fantasy framework, creating a truly distinctive narrative. If I have any criticisms, it's that some of the supporting characters feel a bit underdeveloped, and the pacing can be a bit slow in a few sections.
