Having thoroughly enjoyed the first installment, I eagerly dove into Flawless, the second book in the Pretty Little Liars series. Narrator Cassandra Morris's performance is as engaging as ever, her voice perfectly conveying the angst and complexity of the characters. As the story unfolds, listeners will find themselves more invested in the fates of Spencer, Aria, Hanna, and Emily than ever before. Shepard's writing is sharp and compelling, and her ability to weave a tangled web of secrets and lies is second to none. However, the pacing can feel a bit sluggish at times, and some of the character development feels underwhelming. Despite these minor drawbacks, Flawless is a must-listen for fans of the genre, and a perfect follow-up to its predecessor.
