Pride High

As an editor, I've had the pleasure of experiencing a wide range of audiobooks, but Pride High stands out for its thoughtful, insightful exploration of high school life. One of the most impressive aspects of this story is its ability to tackle tough issues like bullying and identity without ever feeling preachy or heavy-handed. Instead, Bell deftly interweaves these themes throughout the narrative, creating a rich tapestry of emotion and experience that will resonate with listeners long after the final chapter. That being said, one area where Pride High stumbles slightly is in its pacing.
