Pure Joy

As someone who has always been a fan of Danielle Steel's novels, I was curious to dive into her memoir about her life with Max, the tiny yet mighty chihuahua. Renée Raudman's narration is absolutely delightful, bringing a sense of warmth and humor to the story that perfectly complements Steel's writing. I particularly enjoyed the way Raudman captured the essence of Max's personality, which is truly the heart of the memoir. The pacing of the audiobook is just right, allowing listeners to fully immerse themselves in the world of Max and Danielle Steel. One critique I would offer is that, at times, the story could have delved deeper into the emotional impact that Max had on Steel's life beyond the initial introduction. However, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise engaging and heartwarming listen.
