I was blown away by Queen of the Flies. The pacing is relentless, yet never feels rushed. Virtual Voice's narration is exceptional, bringing Ava's struggle to life with a raw, emotional intensity. I loved how Kensington subverts expectations, making this more than just a survival story. My only critique is that some of the storm descriptions could have been more distinct, as they started to blend together towards the end. But that's a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding listen. This is a must-listen for fans of action-packed, character-driven YA fiction.
