As a seasoned audiobook listener, I found 'Raumschiff des Mächtigen' to be an exhilarating journey through the stars. Jacobs' narration is nothing short of outstanding, his ability to differentiate characters and maintain a steady pace making the 15-hour runtime fly by. The story, however, is not without its challenges. Mahr's intricate plotting can sometimes feel overwhelming, with a plethora of characters and plotlines vying for attention. Yet, it's this very complexity that makes the story so rewarding. My only critique is that some of the more philosophical musings can slow down the pace, but overall, this is a gripping listen that sci-fi fans won't want to miss.
