The Abberley Beach Murders

Listening to The Abberley Beach Murders is like being trapped in a flooded escape room yourself, the tension palpable as Detective Milson unravels the mystery. Zara Ramm's narration is exceptional, her voice shifting seamlessly between the gruff, no-nonsense Milson and the varied cast of suspects and witnesses. The story's pacing is excellent, balancing investigation and action with just the right amount of red herrings. My only critique is that some of the secondary characters could have been more fully developed, but this is a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding audiobook. The production is top-notch, with sound effects used sparingly but effectively to enhance the coastal setting.
