The Ice Daughters

I devoured 'The Ice Daughters' in a single, breathless listening session. The story is a masterclass in slow-burn suspense, with White expertly doling out clues and red herrings, keeping you guessing until the very end. Ramm's narration is a perfect match for the material, her voice capturing the isolation and desperation of the characters. The pacing is excellent, with the tension ratcheting up steadily until it reaches a satisfying, if chilling, conclusion. My only critique is that some of the supporting characters could have been more fully realized, but this is a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding audiobook.
