The Ballad of Mitch and SoHee

As an audiobook editor, I was hooked from the opening chapters of 'The Ballad of Mitch and SoHee'. Jimmy Baldwin's narration sets the perfect tone, effortlessly conveying the sense of urgency that propels Mitch and his companions through the vast expanse of the multiverse. The production quality is top-notch, with clever sound design and a well-balanced mix that immerses listeners in the world of 'The Ballad'. While the narrative's momentum can sometimes leave listeners grasping to keep pace, Ormond's writing is undoubtedly engaging. I found myself drawn into the heart-pumping chases through alien landscapes and the cerebral battles of wills between Mitch and his foes. For the most part, Baldwin's narration is well-suited to the task, but there are moments where he could have done more to differentiate between the characters. Still, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise gripping tale that will keep listeners on the edge of their seats.
