Editor's Review ★★★★☆

AudioBook Atlas

As I listened to 'The Case for Rage', I couldn't help but feel a sense of urgency and frustration at the injustices that Cherry so eloquently exposes. Narrator Tracey Conyer Lee brings a sense of gravitas and conviction to the audiobook, perfectly capturing Cherry's impassioned voice and bringing the reader into the midst of the conversation. One of the highlights of the audiobook is Cherry's discussion of the ways in which anger can be a unifying force for social change, and Lee's narration brings this point home with particular effectiveness. If I have any critique, it's that at times the pacing can feel a bit slower than I'd like - Cherry's writing is dense and rich, and it sometimes takes a moment to fully absorb her ideas. Additionally, I found myself wishing for a bit more attention to sound design - at times the audio feels a bit flat and lacking in texture. Despite these minor quibbles, however, 'The Case for Rage' is a compelling and thought-provoking listen that I highly recommend.
