His voice cracks with raw emotion during Liam’s internal monologues—grief, rage, and an unshakable resolve—while his gravelly delivery for the Sulti warriors adds an otherworldly gravitas that makes their telepathic exchanges feel immersive. The production is crisp, with subtle sound design enhancing the tension without overpowering the story. That said, the middle act drags slightly as world-building takes center stage, testing patience during a chapter or two of necessary but less dynamic exposition. Aiello’s performance keeps the momentum alive, though, even when the plot hinges on alien politics rather than blaster fire. The unexpected emotional gut-punch of the climax left me breathless, proving Molles isn’t afraid to ask tough questions about sacrifice and survival.
