The Counterfeit Heiress

I went into The Counterfeit Heiress expecting a solid mystery, but what I got was so much more. Bianca Amato's narration is a big part of the book's charm, her smooth voice and measured pace making it easy to get lost in the world of the novel. I particularly loved how she handled the character of Lady Emily, bringing a sense of intelligence and determination to the role without ever feeling too assertive. The production quality is also top-notch, with clear sound and effective use of music and sound effects to enhance the atmosphere of the story. My only criticism is that the pacing occasionally feels a bit uneven, with some sections feeling a bit rushed or glossed over. Still, this is a minor quibble in what is otherwise a thoroughly engaging listen.
