The Frisco Falcon

Listening to The Frisco Falcon is like taking a thrilling ride on a vintage streetcar through the foggy streets of 1920s San Francisco. Virtual Voice's narration is a real treat, capturing the essence of Kit Aston's British charm and the grittiness of the city's underworld with equal finesse. The story moves at a brisk pace, with just the right amount of red herrings to keep you on the edge of your seat. Murray's writing is sharp and witty, with a great balance of humor and tension. My only critique is that some secondary characters could have been more fully developed, but this is a minor quibble in an otherwise excellent audiobook. If you're a fan of historical mysteries with a dash of hard-boiled crime, this one's a must-listen.
