The Gate of the Feral Gods

I was hooked from the moment I heard the first sentence. Jeff Hays' narration is nothing short of exceptional. He manages to make even the most outlandish elements of this story feel grounded and real. The pacing is spot on, building tension and suspense with each turn of the plot. Dinniman's storytelling is like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're going to get next, but you know it's going to be delicious. My only critique is that some of the world-building could have been a bit more streamlined. There were a few instances where I found myself wishing for a bit more explanation. But overall, this is a fantastic listen that I would highly recommend. It's like Indiana Jones meets Ghostbusters, with a dash of H.P. Lovecraft thrown in for good measure.
