As a fan of epic fantasy, I was drawn into 'The Healing Spring' by its richly detailed world and compelling protagonist. Kestrel's struggle with his dual heritage adds a layer of complexity and emotion to the story that I found deeply engaging. Virtual Voice's narration is a standout feature of this audiobook, with a clear and expressive delivery that brings out the best in Quyle's writing. The pacing is excellent, balancing action and intrigue with moments of reflection and world-building. My only critique is that some of the secondary characters could have been more fully developed, but this is a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding listen.
