I've listened to my fair share of crime thrillers, but The Sour Lemon Score had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. Thorne's narration is spot-on, capturing Parker's icy detachment and simmering rage with equal aplomb. The story moves at a breakneck pace, with twists that come faster than a punch in a bar fight. I did find some of the supporting characters a bit one-dimensional, but Parker himself is a compelling enough protagonist to carry the story.
