I was drawn into The Weird Circle from the very first moment. The full cast narration is exceptional, with each actor bringing a depth of emotion that's rare in audiobooks. The story is a twisted, thought-provoking exploration of a man's descent into despair, and it's told with a stark, poetic prose that's pure Hugo. The pacing is perfect, building tension until the chilling final moments. My only critique is that I wish it was longer - I could've listened to more of this dark, captivating tale. But at 27 minutes, it's a perfect length for a quick, haunting listen. If you're a fan of The Tell-Tale Heart or other tales of psychological horror, you'll love The Weird Circle.
