If I had one nitpick, it’s that Harrison’s take on the Piper at the Gates of Dawn sequence borders on saccharine, losing a bit of the original’s eerie ambiguity. Still, the audiobook’s runtime flies by; I caught myself replaying Toad’s trials or Mole’s riverbank revelations just to savor Harrison’s performance.
