There Be Dragons Here

As a listener, I was immediately drawn into the world of 'There Be Dragons Here'. The dual narration by Eric Jason Martin and Jessica Threet is a standout feature, with Martin's deep, resonant voice bringing a sense of gravitas to the storytelling, while Threet's dynamic performance brings a lively energy to the characters. Rowland's heroine, Lyra, is a refreshing change from the typical fantasy tropes, being a complex, flawed, and relatable character who's as comfortable leading a battle as she is sharing a laugh with her companions. The pacing is excellent, with a good balance of action, dialogue, and world-building that keeps the story moving forward without feeling rushed. My only critique is that some of the secondary characters could have used a bit more development, but overall, this is a fantastic listen that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
