The first act’s worldbuilding is deliberately sparse, which works for the gladiatorial vibe but left me craving more context about the Titan Games’ origins. And while the fight choreography is *brutally* well-executed (the sound of a monofilament blade shearing through armor will haunt me), a few duels drag slightly in the middle act, relying too much on tactical exposition. Still, the finale’s twists—especially the reveal about the ‘Judgement’ itself—land with the force of a drop-kick to the ribs.
