I was drawn into 'Unlock' from the start, thanks to Virtual Voice's dynamic narration. They effortlessly switch between characters, capturing each one's essence, from Lyla's determination to the enigmatic stranger's cryptic allure. Ellis' storytelling is a rollercoaster, with twists that come fast and furious, sometimes leaving me wishing for a moment to catch my breath. However, the pacing picks up perfectly in the climactic scenes, making for a thrilling listen. The only critique I have is that some of the world-building could have been more fleshed out, but overall, 'Unlock' is a fantastic audiobook experience that I'd highly recommend to fans of intricate, time-bending fantasies.
