That said, the voice occasionally stumbles over emotional peaks (a sob or a scream would’ve packed more punch with a human performer), but the trade-off is a listening experience that feels like eavesdropping on a fractured mind. The first half simmers with slow-burn unease—think *Rear Window* meets *The Invisible Man*—but the back half accelerates into a blur of revelations and betrayals.
