I'm not ashamed to admit that I binge-listened to When the Time Is Right in one sitting, utterly invested in the complicated relationship between Hudson and the narrator. The chemistry between them is palpable, thanks in no small part to the exceptional narration by Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton. Their portrayal of Hudson's gruff, cocky exterior and his softer, more vulnerable interior is nothing short of brilliant. One minor quibble: the supporting cast could have benefited from slightly more development to avoid feeling somewhat one-dimensional. Still, the main love story is so engaging, you'll find yourself easily forgiving this minor flaw. With an expertly paced narrative and outstanding performances from the narrators, When the Time Is Right is a must-listen for romance fans.
