As a fan of both fantasy and gaming, I found World Quest to be an incredibly engaging listen. MacLeod Andrews' narration is nothing short of exceptional. He brings each character to life with distinct voices and inflections, making it easy to follow the story even as it switches between perspectives. The pacing is spot on, balancing action-packed scenes with moments of introspection and world-building. However, I did find some of the gaming mechanics a bit confusing at times, which might be a turn-off for listeners not familiar with the tropes of litRPG.
