As I settled into this audiobook, Lisa Cordileone's performance immediately drew me in with her adept handling of the story's comedic timing. Her voice is light and expressive, perfectly capturing the witty, self-deprecating humor of the protagonist, Kitty Valentine. Cordileone's portrayal of Kitty's transformation from a jaded author to a hopeful romantic is the heart of this audiobook.
