X WAR: Incursion

As someone who enjoys a good technothriller, I found 'X WAR: Incursion' to be an interesting listen. The concept of Earth fighting for survival against rising chaos is intriguing, and the idea of Task Force Zero being humanity's last hope adds a sense of urgency to the story. However, I couldn't help but feel frustrated by the inconsistent pacing. There are moments where the story races ahead at breakneck speed, only to slow down to a crawl in the next chapter. This inconsistency made it difficult for me to stay engaged at times. On the positive side, Virtual Voice's narration is serviceable. While the performance is competent, I found myself longing for a more dynamic and immersive experience, especially during the action-packed scenes. Overall, 'X WAR: Incursion' has potential, but it falls short due to its pacing issues and lackluster narration in certain parts.
