XOXO, Little Butterfly

I devoured this audiobook in one sitting, and I’m still not sure if I’m relieved or terrified. The virtual narrator’s voice is pitch-perfect for the story’s tone—soft and vulnerable when the protagonist is alone, suddenly sharp and aggressive when the stalker appears. The pacing is relentless, building tension with every whispered threat and sudden silence. The novel’s surreal, almost dreamlike quality makes it hard to put down, but the ending is so abrupt it left me wanting more. Still, the way the protagonist’s paranoia escalates is so well-crafted, it’s impossible not to be swept up in the madness. If you enjoy stories that blur the line between reality and nightmare, this is a standout.
