I was hooked from the first chapter. Wehrlen's narration is a perfect match for Bible's over-the-top storytelling. He effortlessly switches between characters, from the sarcastic Jace to the no-nonsense HOA president, Mrs. McAllister. The pacing is spot-on, balancing humor and horror, with plenty of twists to keep you on the edge of your seat. My only critique is that some of the more gruesome descriptions could have been toned down slightly, but that's a small complaint in an otherwise excellent listen. The production quality is top-notch, with clear audio and no distractions. If you're looking for a fresh take on the zombie genre, Z-Burbia is a must-listen.
