AudioBook Atlas

As an audiobook editor, I've had the privilege of listening to some of the most thrilling stories in the genre, but AntiBio 2 by Jake Bible takes the cake. Narrator Joel Richards is a masterclass performer, bringing to life the gritty world of the GenWrecks with a voice that's both commanding and vulnerable. His pacing is spot-on, perfectly capturing the frenzied feel of the story as Coffin Squad battles their way through the Sicklands. Where the story truly shines, however, is in its portrayal of the GenWrecks themselves. Bible does an excellent job of humanizing these genetically engineered soldiers, imbuing them with a sense of vulnerability and depth that makes their struggles all the more compelling. My only quibble is with the occasional jarring transition between chapters, which can sometimes feel a bit disjointed. However, this minor issue is easily forgivable given the book's many outstanding qualities. Overall, AntiBio 2 is a game-changer in the world of military sci-fi, and Richards' narration is a huge part of its success.
