As I listened to Agent Undercover, I found myself immersed in the intricate web of characters and motivations that Lynette Eason has so skillfully created. Monique Makena's narration was a highlight of the audiobook, infusing each character with a unique voice and personality that added to the story's emotional impact. One of the things that stood out to me was the way Eason handled the sensitive topic of child trauma, striking a delicate balance between realism and hope. If I have any critique, it's that the supporting characters felt slightly one-dimensional at times, making it difficult to fully invest in their arcs.
