I was completely swept up in the world of Cosmic Crush, and I'm still reeling from the experience. As an editor, I appreciate the way Evans expertly balances action, romance, and sci-fi elements, creating a narrative that's both fast-paced and deeply emotional. The chemistry between Mari and her captor, for example, is palpable - you can almost feel the sparks flying between them. My only quibble is that I sometimes found the supporting characters a bit one-dimensional, particularly in the early going. However, Evans does a remarkable job of fleshing them out as the story progresses, and the world-building is some of the most immersive I've encountered in a while. I also want to give a shout-out to the narration team - they truly bring the story to life, and their performances are a major part of what makes Cosmic Crush so compelling.
