Editor's Review ★★★★☆

AudioBook Atlas

I was blown away by the rawness and candor of Desert Sniper. Finlay Robertson's narration is superb, conveying the complexity and intensity of Ed Nash's journey from idealistic volunteer to seasoned sniper. The pacing is well-balanced, with a good mix of action, reflection, and introspection. One minor quibble is that some of the background noise in the recording can be distracting, but this is a minor complaint in an otherwise excellent production. My only other criticism is that the audiobook could have benefited from a bit more context about the broader conflict, but Nash's personal story is so compelling that it doesn't detract from the overall impact. Overall, I highly recommend Desert Sniper to anyone interested in modern warfare and its human cost.
