I was hooked from the get-go with 'Elemental Origins'. The concept of ordinary teens suddenly becoming powerful elemental beings is a fresh and exciting take on the YA fantasy genre. I loved how each girl's personality and powers were distinct, making their individual journeys engaging and unpredictable. Gabra Zackman's narration is a perfect fit for this series. She effortlessly switches between characters, capturing their emotions and growth beautifully. The pacing is spot-on, balancing action-packed battles with quieter moments of character development. My only critique is that some of the world-building could have been more seamless, as it occasionally felt info-dumpy. But overall, this is a fantastic series that I devoured in record time. It's perfect for fans of unique fantasy worlds, strong female leads, and epic adventures.
