Returning

I was drawn into 'Returning' like a siren's song, and Gabra Zackman's narration was the irresistible melody. Her performance is nothing short of enchanting, bringing Mira's ancient wisdom and primal longings to life with a depth that belies the story's short length. The pacing is perfect, allowing the haunting, evocative prose to wash over you like ocean waves. My only critique is that I wanted more - more of Mira's world, more of her story. But perhaps that's the point; like a mermaid's song, 'Returning' leaves you yearning for more, even as it satisfies your soul.
