First Degree

As I listened to First Degree, I found myself thoroughly captivated by the storyline. Grover Gardner's narration was a standout, as he expertly conveyed the various emotions and nuances of the characters. The pacing was well-managed, keeping me engaged throughout the audiobook. One aspect I particularly enjoyed was the way Rosenfelt constructed the plot, layering in surprising revelations that kept me guessing until the very end. However, I did find that some of the secondary characters lacked depth, which occasionally felt like a distraction from the main storyline. Nevertheless, First Degree is a thrilling audiobook that I would recommend to fans of mystery and suspense.
