Heretical Fishing 4: A Cozy Guide to Annoying the Cults, Outsmarting the Fish, and Alienating Oneself

As an audiobook editor, I went into Heretical Fishing 4 with tempered expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by the depth and complexity of the story. Heath Miller's narration was a standout – his ability to convey the protagonist's deadpan humor and sarcastic tone was pitch-perfect. I particularly enjoyed the way Miller brought the supporting cast to life, from the charismatic cult leader to the lovable but dim-witted sidekick. That being said, there were a few moments where the pacing felt a bit rushed – particularly in the latter half of the book. At times, it felt like Jobson was trying to cram too many plot twists into a relatively short amount of time. Additionally, some of the supporting characters felt a bit underdeveloped, which made it difficult to fully invest in their storylines. However, these minor quibbles aside, Heretical Fishing 4 is a wildly entertaining and engaging listen that's sure to hook you from the very start.
