Heretical Fishing: A Cozy Guide to Annoying the Cults, Outsmarting the Fish, and Alienating Oneself

As an audiobook editor, I went into Heretical Fishing with a healthy dose of skepticism. The premise was intriguing, but I wasn't sure if it would deliver. I'm happy to report that it does, in spades. Heath Miller's narration is a major highlight, capturing Fischer's deadpan wit with ease. His delivery is smooth and engaging, making it a pleasure to listen to the story unfold. The production quality is also top-notch, with clear sound and a well-balanced mix. If I have any criticisms, it's that the supporting cast could use a bit more development. At times, they feel more like caricatures than fully fleshed-out characters. Additionally, the pacing can be a bit uneven, with some sections feeling a bit rushed and others dragging on. However, these are minor quibbles in an otherwise engaging and entertaining listen.
