AudioBook Atlas

As an audiobook editor, I was hooked from the opening scenes of Life Beyond the Grid. The tension is palpable, the characters are well-developed, and the world-building is meticulous. However, I did find the pacing to be a bit uneven at times, with some sections feeling a tad too convenient or contrived. That aside, Trepanier and May deliver strong performances that bring the characters to life. May's portrayal of Charlie's sister, Rachel, is particularly noteworthy, conveying a sense of desperation and weariness that's all too believable. Overall, this is a gripping, thought-provoking listen that will keep you up late into the night.
