Mage de la Source

I was hooked from the get-go by 'Mage de la Source'. The narration is top-notch, with Virtual Voice delivering each line with a gravelly, worn-out edge that's perfect for this post-apocalyptic setting. The pacing is spot-on, balancing intense action sequences with moments of introspection that add depth to the protagonist and the world he inhabits. Stacey's world-building is impressive, with a richly detailed, believable post-apocalyptic city that feels both familiar and otherworldly. My only critique is that some of the supporting characters could use a bit more development, but that's a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding audiobook. If you're a fan of urban fantasy with a healthy dose of grit and a compelling protagonist, 'Mage de la Source' is a must-listen.
